Our story begins with philotimo.
A Greek word that is difficult to translate, but unmistakable when experienced, philotimo embodies pride, generosity, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility toward others. It is the instinct to care for people without being asked and to take genuine pride in making others feel welcomed.
This is the heart of EVOO.

From the very beginning, our vision was to bring an authentic Greek dining experience to Ottawa—one that transports guests to the warmth and simplicity of the Greek islands.
Inspired by the way people gather around the table in Greece, particularly on the island of Crete, EVOO celebrates food meant to be shared, conversations that linger, and hospitality that makes everyone feel at home.
